Suffolk Show Military Village Suffolk Armed Forces Units Securing a MoD Community Covenant grant to enable our local military units to have a bigger presence at this year’s Suffolk Show in order to engage with the public
Refurbished Scout Hut Stowmarket Scout Group Working with Stowmarket Scout Group to secure a range of funds, including a MoD Community Covenant grant, to support the refurbishment of their scout hut which will benefit local military families and the wider community
Skatepark redevelopment Hadleigh Skaters Group Support community volunteer group to secure £150,000 (£20,000 from MoD Covenant Fund) towards the redevelopment of neglected skate park
Outdoor Activity days RAF Honington, Thorpe Woodlands Aventure Centre Delivering a two day outdoor adventure programme to families of service personnel recently returned from operations
Better Together The Befriending Scheme Delivered Better Together befriending programme at Wattisham Flying Station, pilot at Hadleigh and secured MoD Covenant grant and RBL grant to continue Hadleigh support group and develop new programmes at Woodbridge (23 Para Engrs) and RAF Honington.
National Lullaby Concerts initiative Wattisham Flying Station, Mid Suffolk District Council Enabling Forces Families at Wattisham Flying Station to participate in the national Lullaby Concerts initiative - a series of orchestral concerts and workshops specially designed for children aged seven and under
Multi-Use Games Area Sutton Heath Parish Council and 23 Engr Regiment (Air Assault), Royal Engineers at Woodbridge Working with project development partners to secure a range of funds, including a MoD Community Covenant grant, to develop a joint community sports and recreation amenity
Operation Camouflage Suffolk Coastal District Council, 23 Engr Regiment (Air Assault), Royal Engineers A joint community summer activity programme for children and young people from the Woodbridge area
